If you can't quite find the thickness of bacon that suits you, why not slice it yourself? With each 5.5- 6.5 lbs. of Country Bacon you can cut to the measure that's just right for you. The skin is removed from the slab, so you can drop this super-lean bacon into a skillet and watch it sizzle to a crisp, golden brown with very little shrinkage. Makes approx. 55-60 thick slices.
Ingredients: BACON, SALT, BROWN SUGAR, BLACK PEPPER, SODIUM NITRITE.
Storage: Refrigerate upon receipt.
Preparation: If slab bacon, slice to thickness you prefer. Cooking is required.
Cooking: Fry slices over medium heat in skillet or microwave until slices are 160 degrees F.
Shelf Life: 10 days without refrigeration, 4 weeks refrigerated, 6 months frozen
