If you can't quite find the thickness of bacon that suits you, why not slice it yourself? With each 5.5- 6.5 lbs. of Country Bacon you can cut to the measure that's just right for you.
The skin is removed from the slab, so you can drop this super-lean bacon into a skillet and watch it sizzle to a crisp, golden brown with very little shrinkage. Makes approx. 55-60 thick slices.

Ingredients: BACON, SALT, BROWN SUGAR, BLACK PEPPER, SODIUM NITRITE.
Storage: Refrigerate upon arrival. If not to be used within 28 days, freeze for up to 6 months.
Preparation: If slab bacon, slice to thickness you prefer. Cooking is required.
Cooking: Fry slices over medium heat in skillet or microwave until slices are 160 degrees F.

BACON heaven!!





Upon arrival cut into 3 smaller packages - put 2 in the freezer. The first package was quickly consumed, then the next, and then the last. Thicker slices made for awesome breakfasts with Anson Mills pencil cob grits and heirloom eggs !!! I tried another slab bacon (to compare), and Edwards slab bacon WON! The other bacon would "crack/break apart" while the Edwards bacon remained smooth and intact! The peanuts were also delicious. Next culinary adventure - country ham slices and "red eye gravy."

Bought this trying to find that old fashioned country ham flavor I had growing up. This is it!!! Bigger than I thought. Great flavor, texture and fat!! Wonderful bacon!!! I had an extremely sharp knife. Cut thick and thin slices. We prefer the thick slice!! Highly recommend this bacon!!!
