Conveniently boneless and spiral sliced, creating a dazzling presentation at the table. Extra lean with less salt, and a smoky, sweet flavor from our glaze of honey, brown sugar and oil of orange. Arrives ready to heat and glaze to a juicy, golden brown and enjoyed as the main attraction. Available in two sizes. 4-5 lbs serves 10-12 and 9-10 lbs serves 18-20

This is a perishable product. It has been cooked or partially cooked. It is shipped frozen possibly with gel packs and must be refrigerated after arrival.

Shipping & Delivery Information Shipping charges are additional to merchandise prices. We ship via UPS, which requires a street address for delivery. For this reason, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. Also, we do not accept C.O.D. orders. All perishable items are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays only, and should be refrigerated or frozen immediately upon receipt. All products shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico must ship by Second Day Air.

How are shipping charges determined?
We calculate actual UPS shipping charges based on the shipping method, the weight of the product, and the zip code the product is shipping to. If you purchase several products to ship to the same address, the total shipping charge will likely be different than the estimated charges for each individual item, because the items can be combined into a single shipping container.

What shipping methods are available?
Standard Ground shipping is the least expensive, but it is only available for perishable products that ship with 1-2 day transit times. See UPS transit days map below. Next Day Air and Second Day Air are options for any product if you need a guaranteed delivery date. You will be able to choose your preferred delivery date during the Checkout Process and see the estimated shipping charges for each Shipping Method.

How to Glaze a Virginia Country Ham

Storage: Ham is shipped frozen. Refrigerate or freeze upon receipt.

Thawing: Thaw pork in original package in the refrigerator, on a platter to catch juices. Set on the lowest shelf away from other foods, to prevent cross contamination of bacteria. Allow 3 to 5 hours per pound thawing time. If you are in a hurry to thaw the product, use your microwave following the directions of the microwave manufacturer. Most microwaves have a defrost mode based on the pounds needed to thaw.

Preparation: Ham must be thawed before heating. Wrap thawed ham gently with foil, leaving the top slightly open. Put wrapped, thawed ham in oven at 350 degrees F. until internal temperature of ham reaches 160 degrees F, approximately 7 minutes per pound.

Glazing: In a saucepan, add 4 T water to 4 oz glaze mix. While stirring, bring glaze mix to boil. Brush glaze on the surface of the ham and between slices. Increase oven temperature to 425 degrees F. Return to oven for 10 minutes. Any remaining glaze mixture may be added for a darker color and richer flavor for a 2nd application.

Shelf Life: 2 weeks refrigerated, 4 months frozen, Freeze any portion you do not expect to use within 2 weeks.
